Facts of Enrollment

A 1,600-life group across multiple cities and locations in over nine states. Our team managed a voluntary benefits takeover from one carrier to another. Another enrollment firm, which operates in one metropolitan area hired CES to help implement the takeover in markets they could not reach.
 

The Challenge

  • Train and oversee benefit counselors to enroll forty locations in 9 different states

  • Create benefit summaries for all previous carrier’s policies and deliver custom benefit

    statements to each employee with voluntary benefits

  • Coordinate with each onsite manager to ensure we meet with each employee who previously had voluntary benefits as well as additional employees who did not
     

The Solution

  • Create and deliver onsite communication flyers

  • Develop a positive engagement with onsite managers to ensure the proper engagement of

    employees

  • Train benefit counselors to not only deliver custom benefit summaries to each employee who had voluntary benefits but also communicate the value of the new carrier
     

The Result

  • 1,297 applications written for voluntary benefits, resulting in AP of $380,000

  • Educated employees on the value of the new benefit offerings, which offer the same if

    not more benefit for the same if not less premium

  • Electronically delivered a payroll deduction file for all new benefits to HR
